Bob Levins is the Managing Director of Angus Analytics, formerly known as TAG, a business intelligence solutions company acquired by Angus Energy in the fall of 2010. Prior to founding TAG, Bob provided enterprise-level software solutions to companies throughout the petroleum industry. Bob recognized the need for more advanced and robust management and performance reporting, and TAG and BRITE fulfilled that need.
Bob’s professional journey began in the petroleum industry while he was in college in 1972, and in the nearly 40 years since he has worked for companies such as Petroleum Data Corporation, STS Systems, and Structured Management Systems. Over the course of four decades Bob has become a recognized expert on key business processes and industry best practices across all segments of the downstream market, hard-earned knowledge that is particularly useful in today’s environment of consolidation, diversification and technological change. Bob holds a B.S. in aeronautical science from Embry-Riddle University.
David Baratz joined Angus Analytics in 2011, and currently serves as the General Manager. He spent more than 15 years at American Express and JPMorgan Chase in marketing, portfolio management and related functions before turning his focus to data-driven challenges. Over the past several years, he worked for and with small and medium-sized companies to help them better understand and interpret data, restructure data processes, align goals with data providers, and reduce time and expense in running operations. David has an undergraduate degree in business, management, and finance from Brooklyn College, and was recognized as a Fuqua Scholar when he earned his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business with a concentration in global management. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt practitioner.
